ACCREDITATION

DCS is fully accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC), having received its highest level of accreditation, “Accredited With Quality.” The mission of GAC is twofold: (1) to establish standards promoting instruction of high quality for children in Georgia and (2) to encourage schools to meet the established standards. GAC provides an accreditation process designed to establish and uphold standards, strengthen the quality of education in each school, and assure its membership and the general public that the established standards are related to the best educational practices. We are so proud of the DCS faculty, staff, students, and parent community for helping DCS become a school of excellence and achieving this very important milestone.
