Bob Baima - Head of School & Co-Founder

Bob is a co-founder and Head of School at Dunwoody Christian School. He is also a Brigade Chaplain (LTC) in the US Army Reserve. Previously, Bob served a year (2007-2008) as a combat chaplain in Iraq.

Prior to his current roles, Bob benefited from a nearly 30 year career in the IT industry, 21 years of which were with IBM. He and Cindy live in Dunwoody with their two children, Nathan and Abigail, who are both students at Dunwoody Christian School. 

As an ordained minister, Bob has both a firm commitment to education, and a passion for Christian formation. To further his skills in these areas, he is currently pursuing a doctorate in education (Ed.D.). You can reach Bob at

Maxann Wanamaker

M.Ed. – American College of Education  (summa cum laude)
B.S. Early Childhood Education –  Georgia State University (magna cum laude)

Maxann Wanamaker is a GISA Master Teacher, currently in her tenth year of teaching at the Swift School in Roswell, Georgia. A 28 year veteran in education, Maxann is an Academy of Orton Gillingham Practitioners and Educators Associate with over 800 hours of training. She has presented on educational strategies for increasing student engagement at the annual Georgia Independent Schools Association conference and the national International Dyslexia Association conference. Archie and Maxann have been married for 30 years, have raised four children, and are long time Dunwoody residents.

Marian Chase

B.S. Applied Mathematics – Georgia Tech (cum laude)
M.S. Finance – Georgia State University

Marian is the parent of a Dunwoody Christian School student. She is a native of Dunwoody, graduated from Dunwoody High School, and earned degrees at Georgia Tech and Georgia State University. Marian worked in actuarial consulting and in HR for Fortune 500 companies based in Atlanta. Her background includes compensation & benefits plan design, project management, and communication. Marian and her husband, Gerry, live in Dunwoody with their three children. 


Cindi Manley

B.A. – University of West Florida (summa cum laude)

Cindi Manley has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1989. She previously served as the financial leader of a private school which began with 23 students in rented space. She helped lead and grow the program to an enrollment of 126 students on a five acre campus. Cindi and her husband Scott, who is a Delta pilot, have been married for 39 years. Their son Jack serves in the United States Marine Corps.

Rob Weaver

Native Atlantan Rob Weaver holds a Masters degree in Theoretical Physics. As a serial entrepreneur, he has built and led dynamic businesses in the fields of software development and real estate. He currently serves as a deacon at Dunwoody Community Church.  Rob and his wife Sydney have four children and live in Dunwoody.

John Cowart

B.S. – Emory University 

John Cowart is a native of Atlanta who was raised in Dunwoody and graduated from Marist High School and Emory University. John’s family has deep roots in the Dunwoody and surrounding communities and has invested in local private Christian schools. Today, John lives in Dunwoody with his wife Cheri, where he is active in the real estate development and business finance. The family has four children, and attends Northpoint and Passion City churches.

Ron Klein

M.S. – University of Utah
B.S. – Weber State University

Ron Klein is an author, speaker, and a certified non-profit board consultant to Christian schools. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Westminster Christian Academy in Huntsville, AL, where he was formerly Head of School. As a retired army officer, Ron founded an aerospace/defense services company and has led business consulting teams around the world. He has served as the Chamber of Commerce Small Business chairman, Rotary Club president, and is currently active in several community organizations.

Sebastian Suma

M. Div. – New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (4.0 GPA)
J.D. – University of Georgia Law School (cum laude)
B.A. – University of Pennsylvania

With dual graduate degrees in law and theology, Sebastian Suma brings a wealth of educational training and career experience as an advisor to the Dunwoody Christian School Board. Currently, he serves as a Sunday school teacher at Dunwoody Baptist Church, where he has served in various leadership capacities, including on the Leadership Team. Sebastian, his wife Brooke, and two daughters live in Alpharetta.
