DR. J. KEVIN JENKINS, EdD  
Head of School


With extensive experience in educational leadership and a background in faculty roles at esteemed institutions, Dr. Jenkins brings a wealth of knowledge to DCS. We are thrilled to see how he will further our commitment to developing children with a Christ-like character, exceptional knowledge, and readiness for life's challenges in partnership with parents. Dr. Jenkins and his wife, Kelly, are devoted Christian leaders who serve within and beyond the church community. Their presence adds immense value to our school, and we look forward to their positive impact in the coming years.

MEI FAN       
Associate Head of School

Middle School Principal


Mrs. Fan is an experienced educator with almost twenty years of teaching and school administrative leadership experience in public and private settings. She began her journey in Christian education at Victory World Christian School, teaching elementary grades for seven years while earning her Master of Arts in Teaching from Emory University. After graduate school, Mrs. Fan transitioned into school administration at Victory World Christian where she held various roles as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program Coordinator, and Elementary Principal. Mrs. Fan also later taught English language arts at Lilburn Middle School and leadership/career studies at Providence Christian Academy.  As a wife, mother, and principal, Mrs. Fan finds great joy in her Christian faith as she serves in the various roles that God has called her to at home, church, and school. Believing in the transformative power of education rooted in Christian values, she is blessed to guide students in helping them discover their unique calling from God.

MAXANN WANAMAKER      
Lower School Principal


Mrs. Wanamaker brings a wealth of experience in the field of education, spanning over 20 years. Notably, she holds the esteemed designation of Master Teacher from the Georgia Independent School Association. She has been recognized as Teacher of the Year as a public school educator. With a diverse background, she has served as the Director of Children's Ministries at Dunwoody Community Church and spent 12 years as a lead teacher at Swift School, earning her Orton Gillingham Certified Level credentials. Her passion for education is evident through her active involvement as an educational consultant for three years and as a founding board member for Dunwoody Christian School. With deep roots in the Dunwoody community, Mrs. Wanamaker and her husband Archie have lived and worshiped locally for over 25 years and are blessed with four adult children and two grandchildren. Responding to God's calling, she joyfully embraces her role as the principal of Dunwoody Christian School, exemplifying her dedication as both a Christian and an educator.

YOLANDI HATTINGH       
Admissions Coordinator Receptionist


All who know Ms. Hattingh, our Admissions Coordinator, recognize her as a warm and friendly individual, consistently exemplifying professionalism and dependability. Originally from Durban, South Africa, Ms. Hattingh has called the US her home for seven years.  She is an active member of Dunwoody Community Church, where she serves as a volunteer. Her recent completion of her degree demonstrates a commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth. Her exceptional interpersonal skills and dedication to serving others allow her to play a pivotal role as the Admissions Coordinator, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for prospective students and their families. Ms. Hattingh's passion for education and genuine care for individuals shines through in her role, making her an invaluable asset to our school community.

JASMINE LITTLE     
Business Manager


Ms. Little, originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, plays a vital role in our team, focusing on the school's business operations. With expertise in managing school accounting, finances, payroll, HR support, budgeting, annual fund, and purchasing, she ensures the smooth functioning of our financial systems. Ms. Little has earned the trust of our school community as an efficient multitasker known for her thoroughness, organization, and resourcefulness in overcoming challenges. Beyond her responsibilities at DCS, she brings extensive experience in cheer and dance. Notably, she served as a professional dancer for two seasons as a Glads Girl, representing the Atlanta Gladiators hockey team, and even captained the team during her second season.

MEGAN HILTON     
Creative Content Designer

Arts Director


Megan Hilton, our versatile Art Teacher, also serves as the school's Creative Content Designer and Arts Director. With a keen eye for aesthetics and a deep understanding of storytelling, Megan brings ideas to life through innovative designs and engaging content. Her expertise in graphic design, illustration, animation, and multimedia production, combined with her proficiency in industry-standard software, allows her to seamlessly blend different mediums to deliver cohesive and visually stunning creations. Previously the Marketing Director at an international consulting engineering firm, Megan is an Atlanta native residing in Sandy Springs with her twin daughters, and their rescue dog, Kona. When not dedicating her time to school and church, she enjoys engaging in art projects with her daughters, gardening, Zumba, and cooking.

SARAH NEWTON     
Athletic Director


Coach Sarah has been a DCS parent for the past 4 years and is now joining the team as our Athletic Director. She has a passion for Christ-centered athletics and is excited to continue to build the program this year.  As an athlete, Sarah specialized in cross-country and track and field in High School and went on to run at Berry College.  Post college, she was a head track and field coach for 7 years at the high school level and helped coach 2 state championship cross-country teams.  She currently resides in Sandy Springs with her husband, Adam, and 3 kids.

PAULA COSTELLO  
Lions’ Den Director

2023 and 2024 best after-school program, Best of Perimeter

Mrs. Costello has extensive experience in classroom teaching and aftercare programs. She spent several years working with different age groups in the aftercare program at Mount Vernon School. She is a science teacher and leads Dunwoody Baptist Church Preschool after-school enrichment classes. Mrs. Costello actively contributes to the children's ministry at Dunwoody Baptist Church on Sunday mornings, supporting her in classrooms and the church nursery. With a strong Christian faith, Mrs. Costello exemplifies a spirit of service towards our DCS families. Originally from Canada, she has been happily married to her husband, Kent, for nearly 30 years. They have resided in Sandy Springs for 23 years and are proud parents of four exceptional children.

KEISHA WILLIAMS  
Lions’ Den Assistant

2023 and 2024 best after-school program, Best of Perimeter

Originally from New York, Ms. Williams is a devoted mother of four residing in Sandy Springs. She has dedicated herself to teaching at Dunwoody Baptist Preschool (DBP) for the past four years, where her passion for education and nurturing young minds shines brightly. In addition to her teaching role, she actively assists with enrichment classes and contributes to the children’s ministry at DBC, further demonstrating her commitment to the growth and development of children within the community. Her journey with the Lions' Den has been equally impactful, with this year marking her third year of involvement.

PHYLLIS BREECH  
IT Specialist


Mrs. Breech, the founder of Software Applications Technology, established in 1995, seamlessly integrates her faith and devotion to God with strategic goals and action to deliver exceptional client results. With a track record of supporting the establishment of over 100 non-profit organizations and serving on various boards, Phyllis showcases her deep commitment to serving others. She has also assisted businesses and non-profits in establishing a strong online presence. She served as a Marriage Ministry Pastor at a multicultural megachurch alongside her husband, positively impacting numerous lives in their community. Phyllis's dedication to serving extends beyond her local community, as she has participated in mission trips to India and Nicaragua and engaged in local volunteer and non-profit endeavors. Balancing her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, Phyllis remains fervent about giving back to the community through her active involvement in various charitable opportunities.
